Furnished Quarters Hires New Vice President of Marketing, Lori Thomas

(New York, NY) August 10, 2023 – Furnished Quarters, the largest independently owned and operated provider of global temporary housing, is pleased to announce the hire of Lori Thomas, Vice President of Marketing.
With over 30 years of marketing experience and 25 years of managerial experience, Lori’s invaluable expertise in this position will allow her to elevate Furnished Quarters’ overall marketing strategy and streamline the department’s operations for maximum efficiency while being on the cutting edge of marketing trends and technology.
Born and raised on Long Island, New York and after many years of living in Manhattan, Lori is no stranger to the company’s largest market and HQ location, traveling often between New York and her current residence of Boynton Beach, Florida.
Lori’s robust marketing career began at the acclaimed McCann-Erickson Worldwide in Manhattan, where she progressed global brands such as Gillette, Nabisco and L’Oreal. Empowered with that key expertise, Lori embarked on her own path, owning and operating Fresh Brick Brand Builders, a successful global marketing and advertising firm, for 17 years.
Realizing her passion for mentoring others in the marketing field, Lori soon set her sights on becoming a 3-time published author. Her book series, 60-Minute Marketing, educates readers on what marketers need to develop a successful brand, strategy, customer targeting, and effective use of media. However, her passion for mentoring didn’t stop there, as Lori also excelled as a marketing professor at her Alma mater, FIT, in Manhattan—just steps from Furnished Quarters Headquarters.
In her role, she aims to focus on new goals and challenges.
“I aim to streamline our strategy and operations within the marketing department, benefitting the company as a whole. By applying unique programs and past experience, our tradeshow strategy will also be enhanced, allowing our sales department to leverage new, innovative tools to stand out. I also look forward to mentoring and growing an excited team that loves what they do.” said Lori.
When Lori is not working, she enjoys spending quality time with her husband, daughter, son, and her dog. She also loves animals, cooking, and entertaining family and friends.
